Account Support Representative

WorldStrides is a top educational travel company for elementary to graduate students. WorldStrides Discoveries division has a nearly 50 year history of providing students with educational yet fun trips to around the world.In the WorldStrides Discoveries division, I supported three Account Managers with a total of nearly 200 school accounts. I provided administrative assistance to the Account Managers by ways of running daily and weekly reports, tracking deadline dates, provided file maintenance, and editing promotional data. I was responsible for coordinating room lists with other Account Support Representatives (if necessary), ensuring Program Leaders have appropriate waivers, and providing a high level of customer service. In addition to my role as an Account Support Representative, I was an Account Manager for seven We the People National Finals accounts for the 2015 year. I was responsible for coordinating requests for hotels, meals, appointments, and compiling final documents for travel. I was also an Account Manager for our Chicago/Springfield products. For the 2015-2016 travel season, I was a mentor to new Account Support Representatives. I provided training and assistance in all facets of the duties of an Account Support Representative.I assisted our Science Operations team in streamlining and creating an online form hat was used for Program Leaders to communicate expectations of their trip with their Course Leader.
