CurrentSORAMITSU is an award-winning global technology company delivering blockchain-based solutions for crypto enthusiasts, enterprises, universities, and governments. My primary responsibilities as Head of Product Design include overseeing the company’s web and mobile product lineup, along with a multi-brand crypto wallet that is now a key component of the company's overall strategy. In my position, I assembled and now lead a talented team of highly skilled senior designers. This diverse group brings a wide range of expertise and perspectives, which is crucial in creating a cohesive and user-centric design.Along with working on the company's main product lineup, one of our significant achievements has been developing a multi-brand framework for the crypto wallet. This innovative solution provides a white-label option that allows other brands to leverage our technology while maintaining their unique identities. To achieve this, with the help of my team, I have established a Modular Design Approach and Multi-Brand Design System. This allows us to create a highly adaptable and customizable framework for mobile wallets that is not only intuitive and user-friendly but also scalable and easy to update. This adaptability supports the rapid evolution of products in response to user feedback and emerging market trends.Working on such a comprehensive task has enabled me not only to set up the design system itself but also to establish efficient workflows, tools, and processes that unify our team under one efficient approach to design. This systematic approach ensures consistency, improves collaboration, and enhances productivity across all stages of our projects.Overall, my experience at SORAMITSU is a journey of growth and innovation in shaping the future of digital financial tools. Tango is a social live-streaming platform to discover talented creators and make new friends! On Tango, Broadcasters get the tools they need to manage and grow their live-streaming business. Before I joined the company, Tango had about 50 employees and was ranked 5th among competitors in the global market. After I left, there were about 150 employees with R&D offices in various countries, and Tango was ranked as the 2nd largest mobile streaming app.Being a product-first company, product design has played a huge role in Tango's success. The design patterns that I established are still used throughout the app today and are continuously being improved upon. What I accomplished in one year of high-paced work on the product:1. In the first 2 months, I helped to launch a renewed WEB (mobile + desktop) platform. As a result of the launch, the company's revenue instantly increased by 40%;2. During the course of one year I have significantly updated the app's design language and set the bar for future development;3. Reformed processes and HALVED the time required to develop design layouts for 3 platforms (by introducing a Unified Design Paradigm);4. Assembled and onboarded a strong design team;5. Together with the team, I designed and supported the development of strategic features that subsequently brought the company to second place in the global market;6. Having streamlined processes, I successfully delegated the administrative management of the design team in the feature development pipeline to a promising colleague and took a strategic position as a design visionary, process optimizer, and design infrastructure specialist with a goal to implement an atomic design system, improve infrastructure, eliminate legacy, and make the feature conveyor work more efficiently.Tango then decided to relocate everyone to Cyprus, so I left for a remote opportunity, since it did not match with my logistics.

Web And User Interface Designer
One of the hardest parts of my career.Freelancing was a hard struggle for me and I'm open to admitting it. Having clients here and there certainly made me a better designer, but administrating a business, fairly pricing, and marketing myself in an international arena was a challenge that I didn't cope with well at that time. Results: Tax debt, broken hopes, lots of experience, and a hell of a lot of great connections.
Co-Founder / Web Designer
Joining forces with a recently graduated friend we started a small marketing company. We were building websites and doing SEO for fools, friends, and family. After several years of building up a reputation from the ground up, we landed our biggest and most successful project, which was a website for a real estate company named CostaReal.Later we had to part ways looking for better opportunities. But it was really a great ride and a good start to my professional career as a designer.
