And you may not know him but he knows you as a user of web pages, mobile applications, films and video games.How do you become a Cinema Engineer? Studying everything from Physics to Calculus 3, from the masters of communication to the masters of cinema, passing through programming, the study of computer graphics and computer animation, expanding horizons to VR and 360 cinema.How do you decide to become a Cinema engineer? There are many reasons, I can explain mine. I was a teenager when I first saw Hitchcock's remastered Vertigo in the cinema. From that day on I started reading about him, looking at all of his works and I enjoyed producing trailers for his films. I have also always had an interest in science fiction and I have followed with interest the evolution of special effects in films of this genre, especially Star Trek. My first self-taught computer graphics project was a very naïve interpretation of a battle between the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D and a Borg Cube. But what spacecraft is a ship that doesn't move? Between one exam and the next, I came to the long awaited Computer Animation course and now my ship is capable of going even at warp 9 if necessary.But I must admit that during that semester, another course also earned a niche in my heart and in my spare time: Game Design & Gamification. It was difficult for me to separate myself from my little game, every minute was good to improve it, the story, the characters, the graphics, the C# scripts. And guess what? Now I can even be Captain Picard ordering to launch a photon torpedo.The prospect of being able to do this as a profession fills me with joy and enthusiasm. There are so many things that I don't know yet and now that I have the basics to understand them I just want to boldly go where I've never gone before.
