Co-FounderAugmentarium Mar 2011 - Dec 2011London, United KingdomAugmentarium aimed to become the “Photoshop” of AR; seamless and inexpensive design and implementation of Augmented Reality applications.Conducted the business plan based on the feedback of personal contacts from London’s AR industry, whilst the other co-founder developed the prototype. Augmentarium as a business plan was accepted to be incubated by UCL’s centre of entrepreneurship, UCL Advances, and also won a mentorship through the Business Bootcamp from Rapid Innovation Group. The core business idea behind the venture was to take advantage of (1) the fact Augmented Reality and in particular mobile Augmented Reality is a booming industry and (2) that alternative products were very inefficient at the time; extremely high cost for low ROI.The feedback and traction gathered was promising and the potential was immense, however communication issues within the team where enough to give an end to the business.
