I am dedicated to helping people heal relationships and/or prevent poor relationships. Some think relationship counseling is specifically for marriage partners, but I believe that resolve in friendships, family of origin, or between mates can add to the overall quality of life. Numerous variables, including depression or other mental illnesses, family dysfunction, and lack of the appropriate skills contribute to life's difficulties. I try to give people understanding and tools to cope, using practical application of psychological/communication concepts. And for those clients who are interested, I also incorporate spiritual concepts. I particularly like to work with premarital couples.

Its one page index provides navagation to all the rules most sought out in the manual. It is current and accurate--which a majority of free/university websites are not. In addition, I provide EasyAPA Microsoft Tips. This provides tool bar illustrated instructions on how to make your computer (PC or MAC) accurately format your APA papers.

Taught courses for the Social Science Department that combine psychology and Human Justice: Human Trafficking, Race and Mental Health, Marriage Policy--External and Internal, & Leadership in Mental Health, People in Society.

Taught Family Medicine Residents interpersonal/communication techniques as well as early recognition of psychological issues, in order to better treat the "whole" person and increase patient satisfaction. In addition, Provided psychological services to Family Medicine patients on site, with the intent to preempt more severe psychological symptoms at a later date.

Taught a variety of courses for the Social Science, Cognitive Science, and Psychology & Social Behavior Departments, including: Upper division writing (APA style), Introduction to Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Adult Development, and Human Sexuality.

Taught a Master's level Lifespan Development Course. Teaching concepts within the context of therapeutic intervention for each developmental stage.

Provided crisis intervention, testing, individual, and family therapy services for a level 9 boy’s home. The multicultural patients ranged in ages from 11-19 with a variety of diagnoses.

Royale is a locked facility that services both acute and chronic multicultural adult inpatients. Responsibilities: Administration of departmental matters, Director of Training for the practicum program, supervision, assignment of individual therapy and assessment referrals, program development, crisis intervention, participation on several multi-disciplinary treatment teams, supervision of nursing staff, psychological assessment, staff development/inservice presentations, family/individual psychotherapy, and group leadership (Goals, Social Skills, Relaxation, Stress Management, Anger Management, Communication, Support, Prevocational, and Multi- Family).
