Marketing and Design Gen AI Use Cases at NIKE.

Starting in April 2023, I began functioning as a Principal TPM focusing on Generative AI Capabilities for NIKE, specifically Design Use Cases that can assist our NIKE Design Community. Concurrently, I have been working on building a NIKE AI Roadmap so that AI Product and Engineering teams can work more efficiently on these exciting initiatives. Previously, from January to April I covered for an AI/ML Product Director who was on leave in the Consumer Domain, focusing on Search, Product Recommendations and Communications use cases. In 2022 I owned and managed Membership and Consumer Profile Data for NIKE.

Embedded within Transactional Data Products - Planning Data Foundation's goal is to serve up planning-related data to the Nike Enterprise in order to improve the planning function.Transactional Data Products and Planning Data Foundation are part of the Enterprise Data and Analytics department in the Nike Tech organization.

As a Product Owner in Data and Analytics, I work with internal NIKE stakeholders to prioritize work, write epics and create quarterly roadmaps. I also manage the team's backlog, write stories, and work within the Agile (Fractile) Methodology. I work closely with Data Engineers and Architect to approve and develop solutions that we will implement for Nike across the Enterprise. My team's focus is to ingest raw data and present it in clean objects to be consumed for reporting/data science purposes. In order to correctly write and vet epics and stories, I use SQL in Big Data tools such as HUE and Snowflake to profile data for ingestion or to root cause known issues. I review JSON of candidate api's for ingestion and create Source to Target Mapping documents to support engineering work to ingest api's.

• 12/17 – Present: Lead Analyst on Enterprise Organization project for State of Nebraska contract that delivered assessment results for students grades 3 – 8. • 6/17 – 2/18: Lead Analyst on Enterprise Organization project addressing data integrity issues with NWEA’s flagship product. Engagement included CTO, President, among other Executive Stakeholders. Used the following techniques on this project:o Worked with Stakeholders to Business Process Model Current Stateo Creating Beautiful Dashboards using Microsoft PowerBI and SQL Serviceso Led Root Cause Analysis Sub team including Lean Six Sigma Consultant to create 5-whys analysis documentation• 11/16 – 6/17: Implementing New Technologies: Lead Analyst working with Chief Architect, Procurement, Legal and Development teams to implement API Management Tool Apigee. Completed the following work:o Worked with Procurement, Architecture and Legal to write RFPo Helped develop API Design (graph) and template for swagger documentation o Worked on first features that implemented Apigee/AWS technology internally

• 3/16 – 11/16: As a Discovery Business Analyst, I wrote initial requirements for NWEA’s first foray into the state assessment market. Partnered with Design firm to create single page web app for a customer contract deliverable. Created current and future state Business Process Modeling to support prioritized Epics• 10/14 – 3/16: As a Delivery Business Analyst, I wrote epics, features, user stories, and created business process models in support of agile teams building, operating and retiring internal tools. Created new internal single page web app for Test Building and successfully sunsetted the legacy application.

• Lead Business Systems Analyst for Northwest Region (15 states) supporting three customer facing applications: FASTWeb, AgentFirst and myFirstAm.• Partnered closely with Corporate Development and Local Business to create requirements for myFirstAm Desktop, Mobile Site, Android and iOS App New Releases.• Advised Corporate Development scrum team on local business practices. • Successfully sunsetted AgentFirst customer application and migrated users to myFirstAm.• Conducted thorough GAP Analysis of legacy versus new application to ensure customer was not losing functionality.• Trained regional sales staff in support of migration.• NW Division SharePoint Administrator.• Works closely with NW Division Report Writer to create Reports.
