As part of my civil engineering studies, I completed a training internship in the building control and fire safety department at SOCOTEC. The technical controller determines whether a future building complies with the regulations set by the government and CSTB. Their opinion is of great importance to various stakeholders in the construction industry.I had the opportunity to attend exceptional site visits in the capital and participate in multiple meetings with numerous construction industry stakeholders. I learned a great deal about construction regulations and was able to apply the skills taught at INSA.I provided support in various tasks, including drafting mission reports and assisting my supervisor during site visits.
