I’ve been teaching Spanish for over 8 years during which I have been asked many of the same questions from students. Using these questions as inspiration, I designed over 20 charts, diagrams, descriptions, and definitions that make up a teaching guide. This guide simplifies concepts of the Spanish language. It includes charts, which explain the concept of conjugation, explanations of how to use certain tenses, the difference between “ser” and “estar” and also “saber” and “conocer”. It explains possessive and reflexive pronouns, direct and indirect object pronouns, and even provides a formula designed for native speakers to understand how to use accent marks. I use this guide when tutoring beginners and native speakers. My students are extremely grateful for my interactive teaching techniques, which include using words they already know in order to teach them words they do not know. I provide a non-excessive approach to teaching by figuring out what they need and giving them exactly that. I offer them clear examples of the manner in which the language behaves; often times, teachers do not offer this technique. Commonly, students just want to pass, so I provide the tools for them to do so. Others actually want to learn, so I go beyond the realm of merely helping them pass. I understand the individuality of every student and I quickly adapt to every situation.I am one of the most valuable Spanish teachers in Los Angeles due to my experience, focus, youthful spirit, and overall patience.
