Dr. Reddy's is one of India's top drug makers and develops and manufacturers branded and unbranded generic drugs and bulk pharmaceutical ingredientsAs project manager within OctoPlus I am responsible and accountable for projects and project teams for both internal and external clients (worldwide). No project or client is the same, giving me the opportunity to learn and use my people management skills to ensure optimal communication within the team and with the client.Projects range from small R&D projects of 1-3 months to large projects of 1-2 years starting within R&D but ending with clinical productions for the clinical studies of our clients. In general, I manage 5-7 projects of different sizes and with different teams simultaneously.The main goal for me as project manager is to make sure that the project teams can operate as optimal as possible to complete a project within budget and on time. This means ensuring that there is:- a skilled and motivated team for each project - optimal communication within the team and between team and client- a clear project plan including milestones and planning aligned with client and communicated with the team- frequent communication with the client to communicate the progress- availability of equipment and supporting systems such as analytical equipment and space within production and/or lab area- an up to date financial status of the project- time to celebrate successes

In this job I was responsible for:- setting up and executing the policy of the KNCV in the area of career and labour market within chemistry and life sciences- organizing activities and projects in this field such as the annual career fair (C2W Career Expo) and career advice activities- giving lectures to students of Bachelor Schools and Universities on their career possibilities within Chemistry and Life Sciences- coördinating different committees - setting up and working out enquiries - coaching members of the KNCV on their career and job possibilities- setting up and maintaining a virtual career advice website
