Senior Public Relations Specialist
Current-Plan and execute communications and public relations programs for various department needs in support of corporate communications, employee communications, executive communications, media relations, crisis response, and community outreach-Coordinate and write content for communications materials including publications, newsletters, social media, presentations, news releases, talking points and event briefings, flyers, web content, mailers, video scripts, and more-Disseminate information to representatives of the media and community regarding department programs, policies, and activities-Respond to inquiries from the public and media -Coordinate and monitor media interviews with department spokespersons-Plan and execute internal and external events, including creating communications materials to market events -Review and refine content developed by other department staff
