The Clinic Manager is responsible for the overall management and coordination of primary care clinic operations. This role involves supervising staff, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining high standards of patient care and service.Key Responsibilities:Operational Management:Oversee the daily operations of the medical clinic.Ensure efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience.Implement and maintain office policies and procedures.Manage office supplies and inventory.Staff Supervision:Recruit, train, and supervise clinic staff, including receptionists, medical assistants, and other support staff.Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.Address staff concerns and foster a collaborative work environment.Financial Management:Develop and manage clinic budgets.Monitor and control expenses.Oversee billingHandle payroll and financial reporting.Compliance and Quality Assurance:Ensure compliance with Ontario healthcare regulations and standards.Maintain patient confidentiality and data security.Implement quality assurance programs and monitor outcomes.Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.Patient Relations:Address patient concerns and complaints.Ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.Promote a welcoming and professional clinic environment.Technology and Systems Management:Oversee the use and maintenance of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.Ensure staff are trained in relevant technology and software.Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with IT support.
