Duties include scheduling patient visits. Request authorizations, verify insurance benefits, customer service,handle patient complaints and concerns, check in and out patients, medical records, posting of payments,inventory control and ordering, and assisting the doctor in procedures.

Duties include substance abuse collections both insurance and patient for all levels of care. I ensure thatbilling isdone correctly and submitted. I am in charge of verifying all benefits for thirteen facilities via telephone andonlinetools such as Availity, Optum, UBH ect.. I oversee all verifications done and delegate help when needed. I alsoassist with posting payments and following up on denials.

Duties include billing inpatient and we'll as outpatient hospital claims on UB40 form. I am responsible foraccountfollow up and read explanations of benefits. I also verify insurance benefits and data enter the correctinformation. I am responsible for recognizing and escalating any issues including coding and programming.

Duties include reviewing data for accuracy, process and electronic batch billing and reporting, (United HealthCare,Carecentrix, BCBS, Aetna ect.) including HCFA 1500 and UB-04 forms. Verifying and generating of patientintakeforms, insurance verifications using online tools and telephone, both long term and commercial.Reconciliation of EOB's, insurance payments and client accounts, correspondence with clients and insurancecompanies, issuing of refund checks. Payroll processing and reconciliation. Management reports - payroll, billing and unpaid invoices etc. I also was responsible for account receivables and posting. Other general office duties asassigned including mail, ordering and maintaining of supplies andanswering of multi-line telephones.
