And I believe in the arts as a catalyst for systemic change.Both an artist and organizational leader, I have dedicated my career to supporting and advocating for individuals creating and sharing art that reflects our world today. As a self-described change agent, I have led transformational work so that both not-for-profit organizations and individual artists can achieve "Big Hairy Audacious Goals.*"My personal journey from a background rooted in Western European classical music to studying and practicing antiracism guides my work. The learning/unlearning has helped me to experience a new relationship with the arts (and the world) to address issues, reckon with our history, and forge alliances to pursue meaningful progress.Not surprisingly, I LOVE being an amateur anthropologist, race and gender studies student, and organizational psychology nerd through courses, podcasts, articles, and people.
