The completion of My duties included cleaning, inspecting, and feeding all animals within the education department: Husbandry of avians, reptiles, amphibians, and mammals. Educational programs for school level children at their institutions of learning and at various locations within the park. The completions of a self chosen research paper and at least 135 hours for academic course credit. The topic of my paper was the understanding of elementary, middle and high school student learning methods in order to present information about animal husbandry and conservation in a way to facilitate the learning of the material.

The completion of 230 hours. My duties included cleaning, feeding and inspecting birds, reptiles, and amphibians everyday. Reptile and Amphibian husbandry pertained to a frog, a snake, a skink, and two bearded Dragons. I preformed two educational shows with another intern twice a day. The first program was "Parrots of the World" in which basic habitat, morphological, and dietary information was given while the parrots preformed tricks. The second show was "Going Wild" in which dietary, habitat, reproductive, morphological and conservation information about the above stated reptiles and amphibians as well as a cotton top tamarin was given in an entertaining fashion.
