Provides administrative support, assists the public, and ensures department compliance with federal and state regulations within the guidelines of FLSA regulations, department and local government policies and procedures, and standard operating procedures. Report to the Fire Chief or other designated person and works with co-workers, other personnel, and the public to provide administrative support. Maintains department accounts and reconciles account, compiles and prepares reports and ensures proper distribution, assist with budget process, processes purchase orders and related files, works independently with good communication skills both written and oral.
