Vanessa Webber, RN is an experienced Forensic Nurse Examiner, SANE-A, and SANE-P with the Center of Hope team at Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis and Peyton Manning Children’sHospital. Driven by passion, and taking pride in integrating nursing skill and knowledge of forensic sciences while providing a trauma-informed safe space for victims of violence to receive. Known for her compassion and empathy,Vanessa has been the recipient of the Ascension St. Vincent Caring Angel award and 3 time Daisy Award nominee.Vanessa is dedicated to ensuring survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence have access to local resources through Outside the Frame. Outside the Frameprovides quick online access to education and resources needed for victims of violence.In addition to her primary job functions, Vanessa has an enthusiasm for educating and precepting nurses interested in the forensic nursing field.In her spare time, Vanessa runs a non-profit baseball field, Webberland Field, with her family from her backyard.
