I'm a writer, editor, and content creator based in Portland, Oregon. I've been working in digital media for 10+ years and am passionate about telling stories that make people think and feel deeply. I'm currently the Deputy Managing Editor at Hey Alma, a project of 70 Faces Media. Hey Alma is a feminist Jewish culture site and online community focusing on diverse voices, especially those who often don’t get heard enough in the organized Jewish world, including Jews of Color, queer Jews, Jews by choice, and Mizrahi and Sephardic Jews.I consider my writing voice my biggest asset; I have a unique, personable tone but am also able to match the voice of a company, brand, or publication with ease. As an experienced freelancer I am skilled at juggling multiple deadlines and a varied workload. I love collaborating and mentoring, and have 5+ years of experience managing freelancers, volunteers, and staff members.My writing has been published in Hey Alma, Vogue, Autostraddle, NYLON, Catapult, Shape, and the print anthology Sex and the Single Woman: 24 Writers Reimagine Helen Gurley Brown’s Cult Classic.When I'm not writing, editing, or teaching I enjoy gardening, cooking for my friends, and hanging out with my dog, my chickens, and my wife.
