I am a grade three French Immersion teacher in a small independent school.

As a Shift Leader at Kitchen Stuff plus, my main duties included but were not limited to Customer Service, light administration work, and managing sales floor.

Short term summer school teacher for elementary and middle school aged children in Toronto, Ontario. Day long programming with formal classroom material in the morning and excursions all around the city in the afternoon.

Through a twelve month work contract taught students between the ages of four and fifteen. Duties included creation of unique and useful lesson plans, management of classroom area and discipline, creation of new reading program for elementary school aged children, monthly and weekly progress reports, parent teacher interviews, and extracurricular activities such as preparing events such as Children's Day, Christmas, and Halloween.

Through a twelve month work contract taught students between the ages of six and ten. Duties included heading a kindergarten class involving all subjects, monthly progress reports and parent teacher meetings, creating exciting lessons from already existing curriculum, developing creative activities for all students, and extracurricular activities such as open houses, Halloween, Christmas concert, and class performances.

Through a fifteen week internship gradually adopted the workload of a full-time teacher. Taught one class each of Political Science 122, Canadian History 122, Social Studies 10 (Ancient Medieval History), and Social Studies 9 (Canadian Identity). Duties included establishing and maintaining a positive learning environment, creating and delivering lesson plans, and creating, reviewing and implementing various assessments (tests, quizzes, midterms, creative assignments, and oral presentations).

Through a six month period working with exceptional learners (physical and mental), gained firsthand experience in the classroom. Duties included implementing lesson plans, creating innovative exercises on short notice and being a reliable source of aid.
