I have a Master’s degree of Education in Enrollment Management and Institutional Marketing from Walden University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The University of Texas-Pan American. In my previous role, I was the Marketing Communications Manager at the University of Houston-Victoria, where I facilitated the design and deployment of e-communications for the departments under the Division of Enrollment Management. My core competencies include marketing campaigns, external communications, and marketing communications.As a Marketing Communications Manager, I am part of the Slate CRM Core Implementation Team, responsible for configuring the new CRM system, managing content and communications for mailing, and uploading and maintaining all branding for Slate. I also serve as the point person for coordinating all undergraduate, and enrollment-related communication efforts, and manage the email / SMS marketing calendar. I am passionate about educating first-generation and underserved students on the importance and value of obtaining a college degree, as I did in my previous role as a Regional Advisor at Texas A&M University. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, and I am motivated to support the enrollment and retention goals of the university.
