Set up standards & special specifications for all members to follow accordingly to create an easy work flow. Printed proofs, troubleshooting, liasing with all team members to get sign off and preparation for print production. Having the opportunity to work in a small design team and producing designs varying on Ads, POS, Powerpoint templates, mood boards, invitations, cigarette packaging, brand guidelines & posters. Presented and liased with clients from brief to print.Worked closely with high profile clients:• Qantas • AGL • GWF • Dove • LG • BATA • Formula 1 • Scratchies • ARC • KFC • Dove • Foxtel • Woman’s Weekly Achievements in SOM: Worked on Scratchies Pitch and won 3 x ticket design artwork. Pitched for Australian Rugby Championship Logos where my logo designs were selected for ARC, and Rays. Pitched for KFC logos and Toasted Turkish Sandwich which was produced on point of sale and packaging (then we won all logos to be designed in Australia rather than NZ). -
In-House Graphic Designer – RetailCaltex Australia 2000 - 2005CbdWorking with Caltex for 5 years in-house has enabled me to specialise in point of sale which includes coolroom cards, hanging mobiles, A4 cards, posters, bollards, shelf talkers.My responsibility was for a monthly magazine Shoptalk approx 50pgs, Newsletters, web, ID Sign logos (bakery/pizza plus) and much more.Achievements in Caltex: • Industry award for the best point of sale 2002 & 2003 for the refining industry.• Created logos for the Caltex ID Signs (Pizza Plus & Bakery Logo). Involved in creation of Pizza Plus menu board, counter display and internal bakery signs. Co-ordinated photography for the pizza menu board. • Created pelmet graphics for a site in QLD as well as working on the design of interiors. • Had opportunities of creating web banners for the web team in flash as well as being involved in meetings for the creation of the new look website for Caltex which was produced by an external design agency in Melbourne. Designing Newsletter templates for Motorsport & Retail for the web team. • Designing Point of Sale for Marketing Events such as the Bathurst Car Racing. • Designing a Starlight Foundation Phone Card and Point of Sale as voluntary basis for charity.Working with Brand, Engineering, Suppliers, Printers and Category Managers has given me a broad understanding of all areas. I had met every deadline and applied myself to any challenge.Played Corporate Basketball for Caltex..won a trophey!!! -

Between 3 designers we were able to output 30 covers monthly and was highly respected by our clients.
