In June 2019, together with my partner and two young children, I embarked on a sailing adventure on our catamaran Toc. This adventure of a lifetime has pushed me to examine fears and overcome challenges on an almost daily basis. It leaves me ready to face my next professional assignment with renewed confidence and passion.

A senior customer-facing project role responsible for the end-to-end implementation of customer requirements within Entsia’s cloud-based platform space. As the public face of Entsia in projects, the role was responsible for the end-to-end implementation of new client’s requirements onto Entsia’s insurance platform. Key to the role was providing expertise and advice in order to identify customer business needs as they looked to Entsia as insurance industry specialists. In parallel, the role was actively involved in new client demonstrations and acquisitions in the cloud space.Responsibilities:Gathering and understanding the customer’s requirements, delivering appropriate solutions using Entsia’s configuration tools and Agile methodology. Facilitation of requirements gathering, delivery of business and solution requirements, data models, document templates, business rules, financial calculations, process workflows, configuration of products on the platform.Setting and managing customer expectations, providing guidance and design/configuration oversight to other project resources, identifying risks and issues and communicating resolutions to relevant parties, third-party vendor management.Leading or actively participating in Entsia platform demonstrations to prospective clients, developing new project proposals and SOW, including full cost and implementation plans.Achievements:Appointed as the sole implementation consultant on a new cloud based project after only three months at Entsia. Successfully delivered Entsia’s first cloud based product on time and budget.Key member of a small team responsible for two new customer acquisitions after only six months at Entsia.

As a lead for the Education portfolio within the Strategic Program of Work in IT Services, the role encompassed both strategic and operational responsibilities with accountability for estimating, shaping and implementing all BA related initiatives and activities. Responsible for continually monitoring cross-practice dependencies and participating in the ongoing evolution of IT delivery methodology. Multi-faceted role instrumental in enabling the delivery of excellence in education through playing a lead BA and/or PM role on strategic projects designed to deliver innovative and cost-effective digital solutions that enhance the digital student experience. Agile business analyst on an $8m project tasked with replacing a legacy underwriting system to deliver a contemporary online product distribution platform. Responsibilities:- Define project scope, document high-level requirements as epics, complete the master story list and identify process improvements. - Facilitate workshops to elicit detailed business requirements and document using Agile stories.- Run planning poker sessions with development team to estimate effort. - Assist with iteration planning, set up and ongoing management.- Champion Agile practices, advise and lead business and technical stakeholders in their agile transformation, including the use of new tools Jira and Confluence. - Interface between business and technical stakeholders during design, development and testing. - Continuously engage with business to prioritise requirements and manage expectations.- Map existing and to-be business processes for all core underwriting functions. - Coordinate UAT with business and developers to achieve timely sign off. Responsibilities:- Lead the analysis stream: scope definition, requirements gathering, complete master story list.- Complete detailed story elaboration for each iteration, testing and sign off. - Facilitate business process mapping workshops for different product lines - Run planning poker sessions with the development team to estimate stories - Run iteration planning meetings / schedule stories / support dev team during development - Primary interface between the development team and business during UAT.Achievements:- Project demonstrated solution alignment to organisational strategy and viability of product migration. - Project gained key stakeholder buy-in for the new requirements process and agile delivery. - Project helped gain executive approval for the funding of a new product distribution platform.

Responsibilities:- Developed system specification document from a high level BRD for agreed scope of work. - Facilitated workshops with business stakeholders to elaborate and confirm requirements and achieve sign off. - Designed comprehensive process and functional diagrams as well as use cases. - Provided effective and continuous subject matter support during development by a third party US based vendor. - Obtained estimates for and developed a detailed project plan for future project phase. - Acted as UAT lead on parallel project phase: did UAT planning, managed test case preparation and coordinated test execution and defect management with test and development teams. Responsibilities:- Visit HSBC client sites to gather and document business requirements for new products and facilitate business process mapping workshops.- Work on several product development projects simultaneously,- Develop functional specifications and work closely with third party vendor during design, construction and testing to ensure project goals were met. - Develop detailed UAT plans and coordinate UAT with clients. - Identify and escalate issues to PM as appropriate. Achievements:- Developed a very productive working relationship with a third party software vendor.- Successfully implemented several products on the HSBC online platform.

As a business analyst, I was part of a large team of IT professionals working in a complex project environment. I worked on a diverse range of projects, from data warehousing, conversion, system enhancements, company re-branding and new web system development projects. I had significant exposure to many different business departments, external vendors, and IT functions. I worked on everything from projects scoping, business requirement elicitation, functional specification, UAT and implementation and business process mapping.
