With more than eight years of experience in developing technologies for a sustainable aquaculture ecosystem, I am the co-founder and CEO of Otanics Technology JSC, a company that serves all stakeholders of the global shrimp value chain on the Tomota digital platform. Tomota leverages unique technologies for seamless accurate data acquisition and informed decision making, enabling shrimp farmers, processors, exporters, importers, and consumers to optimize their operations, reduce risks, and increase profits, while maintaining the best Environmental, social and governance (ESG) practicesI am also the co-founder of Ofarm Technology JSC, a company that develops affordable recirculation aquaculture systems for small-holder farmers, and the director of NTT Hi-Tech Institute, a research center that focuses on biotechnology, IT, IoT, and AI applications for various industries. My expertise lies in enzyme discovery and characterization for biomass conversion, microbial pathogenesis, and infectious disease diagnosis and surveillance. I have published multiple papers in prestigious journals, filed a patent on oxidative starch degradation and, and received several awards and fellowships for my research. My mission is to use my knowledge and skills to create positive impacts for the environment, society, and economy through innovation and collaboration.
