Vanessa Reid is a Student at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-Camden at Education Ambassadors. She possess expertise in leadership, public speaking, time management, powerpoint, social networking and 20 more skills. Colleagues describe her as "Vanessa is a vivacious and loving person who is well liked and respected by her peers. She is articulate and is full of life & positive energy. She takes pride in maintaining good health by what she puts into her body. Vanessa is a great cook who will experiment with creating any cuisine, thinking that ‘variety is the spice of life. I have watched Vanessa grow into a fine young lady. Vanessa is considerate and is always willing to give a helping hand to others because of her caring disposition. Vanessa is an extrovert – with a very friendly and outgoing personality. Vanessa is protective of her friends and family and will give whatever support is necessary, even if it means “doing without.” From approximately 2007 – 2009, Vanessa performed volunteer services at Saint Peter's University Hospital where she worked mainly during the summer months as my clerical assistant. She would assist with office duties when she found the time. Vanessa took pride in the work that she did, always aiming for accuracy and doing a fine job. I recall having a major project to complete for the State in July 2009 and Vanessa was the only person whom I had to assist. In order to not miss the project deadline and face severe penalties, Vanessa contacted another friend of hers who was authorized to volunteer and had the volunteer come to assist from 8 pm – 11 pm that night. They both assisted with the project in organizing the documents, collating, making copies, ensuring that everything was in order. Because of Vanessa’s intuitive thinking, we were able to complete the project on time that night. This is the type of dedication that some business people lack. If I had to recommend Vanessa for a position, I would not hesitate because I believe she will do the best job that she can.
