My key responsibilities included:• Prioritizing safety: I adhered to and championed safety protocols for all receiving area activities, including proper lifting techniques and equipment operation (box blades, pallet jacks, ladders).• Efficient processing: I ensured the timely processing of all incoming shipments, including direct deliveries, local merchandise, OMNI orders, and warehouse trailers.• Inventory security: I maintained the security of high-value items in designated storage areas.Maintaining a pristine workspace: I kept the receiving area organized and efficient by managing returns, claims, and MTRs with accurate documentation.• Collaboration and problem-solving: I worked closely with the Operations Manager and Office Support Associate to resolve discrepancies and address any receiving challenges.• Training and mentorship: I provided guidance and training to fellow DSD Associates on receiving area procedures and best practices.• Security and compliance: I diligently followed company guidelines for backdoor access and key control, ensuring a secure environment.• Quality assurance: I maintained cold chain compliance by meticulously documenting temperature logs and utilizing the Sure Check App, upholding the highest standards for product quality.This role honed my skills in inventory management, teamwork, problem-solving, and process optimization while reinforcing my commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences.
