Pulse Q&A is a platform that challenges the one-size-fits-all reports that dominate C-suite executives' decisions on strategy, innovation, and enterprise by providing real-time data gathered from thousands of CIOs in their community. I manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest, and potentially additional channels (Instagram, etc.). Furthermore, I keep an eye on forums and guide thought leaders to engage in relevant social discussion about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing customers and leads and from brand new audiences that don’t yet know us. Regular social promotions and campaigns are run while I track their success, ranging from Twitter chats, to Google+ Hangouts, to LinkedIn conversations, as well as the content and links posted through these and other channels. I assist in event research and planning including exploration of sponsorship and speaking opportunities, event logistics, and planning support. Lastly I also assist with other marketing activities, as needed, such as internal and external newsletters, paid media planning, competitive research, and more.

81 Podcast is a raw podcast broadcasting laymen opinions on any and all topics that plague the minds of current teenagers and adults. I was in charge of brainstorming content and questions for each episode along with researching current events and trends that would generate the most conversation. Because the podcast believes in complete honesty, the discussions are candid and not edited. However, I edited content for the website and social media accounts. I created promotional materials, the logo, business card templates, and more for 81 podcast using Illustrator and Photoshop.

Adaa Dance Academy is Orange County's Award Winning Indian Bollywood Dance School founded by Apra Bhandari, who is the current creative director and choreographer. I create interactive posts and weekly segments to keep the audience engaged as well as generate interest in the academy's versatile offerings. I regulate the Instagram page and have increased followers by 11.6%, impressions by 44.4%, posts by 35.4%, and website clicks by 5%. I personally have been involved with this dance academy since 2012 when I joined as a dancer for the first time. After just two years, I was promoted to the competition troupe as the youngest member. From then onward, I have had a sincere passion toward and connection with Adaa resulting in my involvement with the company despite leaving Irvine for college at Berkeley.

My team and I worked with the founder of the startup, Kiwi, which is a food delivery application. Initially, we took note of the goals Felipe Chavez, the founder, wanted to complete. Using this information, we conducted research on the function of the application and released survey forms to test the efficiency and user experience of the application. Taking this information and feedback, my team and I then conducted research on competing food delivery applications, such as Postmates, to see what how to stand out against them and what common strategies can be used. We took all of this information back to Felipe and then sketched out a marketing strategy for the rest of the semester. Our biggest recommendation was to utilize the Berkeley campus and students' desires to get food delivered by extending hours and running marketing campaigns on campus.

MyLive is an application that works to educate users on nearby restaurants, experiences, sights, and more! I analyzed various metrics of the 1,000+ Berkeley businesses nearby to determine the application’s featured ‘Top 100’ content. I then corresponded with business owners and organization leads to acquire 250+ clients to partner for the launch version. Furthermore, I spearheaded marketing strategies for the application launch and created transitional materials that instructs businesses how to manage their own content to increase efficiency.

CALPIRG (California Public Interest Research Group) is a statewide organization that collaborates with students to create real results along with trained professionals. In the beginning of the year, I focused on recruiting students for campaigns through class announcements, lead generating, and tabling as well as using social media to promote informational meetings. Once campaigns for the semester were decided, I created marketing strategies for each one which included chalking, photo campaigns, designing stickers and flyers. In November, I worked with the student government at Berkeley to register over 10,000 students to vote. I also raised awareness of the plastic bag ban for California which resulted in the passing of Proposition 67 during the election. Lastly, I attended a statewide conference to discuss upcoming issues, such as banning fracking and gaining 100% renewable energy, and learned how to create campaigns for them.
