Within this role, I drove core competencies and day-to-day activities of the team through active mentoring and training managers and fulfilling a new pharmacy contract with a Bupa care home. I effectively optimised store procedures, introduced an end-to-end prescription assembly line, delegating ownership of roles across the pharmacy. I also oversaw the design and implementation of a strategy with team members to structure the introduction, dispensing, clinical checking and delivery of medications for a new care home contract on a bi-weekly basis; achieved by holding daily team meetings, challenging and facilitating employee ideas ensuring group decisions with clear guidance target setting.
