In my role as a Software Architect, I was responsible for designing and implementing various new services, including public APIs, authentication, and role-based access control (RBAC). I successfully managed the migration of the overall infrastructure from a monolithic architecture to a more flexible containerized microservices architecture.Led the engineering department with a focus on the timely delivery of user-facing applications. Successfully oversaw a globally distributed team spanning across the United States, Europe, and Asia. Designed a cohesive framework to facilitate the development of user-facing applications utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as Angular, NX, and Docker. Developed a comprehensive process automation plan and a migration strategy for legacy projects.

In my capacity as a Technical Advisor, I spearheaded research and development initiatives, championed a cloud-first approach for both novel components and the migration of existing services to the cloud, constructed cloud-based subsystems, and hybrid cloud-on-premises solutions. Additionally, I collaborated on the architectural blueprint of new components, revamped and streamlined legacy components of RingCentral products, and assessed contemporary technologies with potential to enhance the cost-effectiveness, maintainability, and performance of our services.-> Successfully onboarded the Glip product, the strategic acquisition for RingCentral. Product services have been re-architected to support the customer base extreme growth. Existing architecture and development processes have been changed to meet RingCentral infrastructure and flows. The database had been redesigned to improve performance to support enterprise-sized customers.-> Designed the new DevOps practices for the company’s cloud-native applications, which dramatically reduced delivery time and improves maintainability.

Upon commencing employment with the company, I assumed a leadership role as a co-founder of the Research and Development team. I spearheaded efforts to analyze the current service architecture, conducting comprehensive assessments to identify opportunities for optimization. I subsequently restructured legacy components and devised novel services. My contributions ultimately led to my relocation to the organization's United States office.-> Significantly reduced infrastructure cost by redesigning one of the most massive databases from Oracle Database Enterprise to the hybrid Oracle-MongoDB solution.-> Designed mobile-web application framework for productive development of the corporate mobile app by multiple globally distributed teams-> Designed new modular web framework, resulting in improved development and testability of the main company service web application.
