Welcome to my LinkedIn profile!My name is Vas and I am currently undertaking my 3rd Year of Mechanical Engineering At the University of Adelaide majoring in Aerospace. As such I am currently interested in expanding my knowledge base and skills through an internship in the field. Currently, I am well versed in using both the 3DEXPERIENCE solidworks platform and Autodesk CAD suites. Additionally, I am proficient in coding in C, C++ and MATLAB languages with a fundamental understanding of basic coding language structure as I undertook a computer science course. In terms of interpersonal skills, I possess skills considered valuable in a diverse team environment. I have had experience in leadership roles at work and as school captain in year 12. I additionally have a profound intercultural understanding due to my significant time living in Singapore, Malaysia and Australia which truly allowed me to connect with and understand different cultures and people. Through the attainment of an internship, I hope to show an employer what value I can bring to a room as well as build my essential engineering skills. 5-8 years down the track I hope to be a part of a team of engineers doing something innovative and groundbreaking and I see an internship as a quintessential step in getting there.
