Working with the SAS Program, a large transformation project centralising student administration into a single professional services unit. Responsible for designing, documenting and delivering a knowledge management framework to both ensure key knowledge was not lost in the transition as well as to increase efficiency of operations and allow new staff to be effective in specialist teams. Key activities included extensive stakeholder engagement and stakeholder management, in developing socialising and agreeing a set of process templates, standards, guidelines and document naming conventions for process knowledge within the unit.Designed and coordinated the development and maintenance of a new central knowledge library repository of the teams’ process documentation and other knowledge, based on the cloud-hosted Office 365 SharePoint environment.Together with the wider program team we established a base level of over 750 knowledge articles and process content.Led an effort to cleanse, rebuild and migrate the Credit Precedent Database into the new SharePoint environment. As a result data entry speed and accuracy was greatly increased, allowing updates to be made in real time as opposed to be being deferred until the next quiet period. Worked to embed the knowledge management framework within the teams, running multiple training sessions, engagement workshops and individual coaching sessions to ensure that the allocated knowledge leads in each area were actively participating in maintaining and improving the knowledge library on an ongoing basis.Designed and built a new collaboration site for the Central Program Management Office (CPMO). This space provided university staff a radically different and approachable view of projects, as well as enabled the CPMO team to effectively coordinate internally and distribute updates to best practice tools and templates.

Reporting to the Sourcing Program Manager I managed the iM Operating Model Project – a pivotal piece in a large transformation program to switch to a more scalable outsourcing model. Key activities included Process Documentation, Stakeholder Management, Project Management and Reporting and development of Process Templates, Standards and guidelines. I also designed and coordinated development and maintenance of new team SharePoint pages. Managed a special project to perform an extensive end to end review of the Operating Model to identify challenges and to highlight and drive improvement opportunities across Process, Technology and Change Management. Developed the process and supporting documentation for a Service and Process Improvement function to proactively identify, prioritise and act on improvement opportunities. Designed performance assessment reports and tools to grade the organizational process maturity, and link key measurements to how they contribute to delivering business value.

Key team member on the largest transformation project in Broadcast Australia’s history – Project Integr8. This project is the development and implementation of a new Enterprise Asset Management system supporting improved processes and people initiatives. This role reports to the Project Director and has responsibility for process mapping and improvement, business requirements analysis, training development and delivery and internal communications.Redesigned the Purchasing Process and system implementation to achieve new business requirements and improve the workflow. This included doing a gap analysis, assessing the out of the box system behaviour and prototyping a new solution. I carried this solution through internal reviews, UAT, Training, Process Documentation and Deployment. Worked closely with the Project Director to re-baseline the Integr8 Project into a new Agile methodology, advising on estimates, resourcing and criticality of components. Led the creation of the Process and User Guide document set and templates. Trained and mentored staff in the modelling and documentation of processes to aid in the transition to BAU.Oversaw system testing with product developers, and managed user acceptance testing - capturing feedback from system users, converting feedback to change requests, and seeing new requirements through to implementation. Developed a modular training regime to demonstrate new processes and the new Enterprise Asset Management system to cross-functional staff across Australia. Created training materials for in-person delivery to business based trainers, direct delivery to staff and interactive online training through utilisation of EPAK tool. Supported trainers throughout training roll out and continue to act as a subject matter expert on the system and processes.

As a core team member of the Operational Excellence & Process Management team, I was responsible for the execution of internal process management initiatives, working on projects with teams based in Australia, United States and India. These services were predominantly carried out for Cisco's Connected IT Services division using SIPOC, ITIL, BPMN, CMMI, and ISO methodologies.Conducted in depth data gathering, process mapping (Visio for As-Is and To-Be states), process reviews and strategy presentations across many functional areas including financial management (20+ processes), help desk services, service management, internal mail, client engagement, IT architecture and operations. Many of these processes were previously undocumented.Extensive scheduling and facilitation of workshops to elicit information from SMEs, Process Owners and Process Managers. These included kickoff sessions explaining our process and methods, documentation workshops to gather process information and audit sessions to capture lists of their processes and SMEs. Managed the design and development of best practice process management templates for Process Flows, Process Definitions, Procedures and Operational Playbooks. Facilitated the deployment of all process documents and created additional views for the internal Cisco online community / wiki. All documentation adhered to the ISO 9000 series Documentation Standards.Successfully developed a business case and supporting metrics to prove the value of process documentation services inside Cisco.Conducted process audits and maturity assessments, and developed recommendations for process improvement. Developed the maturity framework for the assessments, including the questionnaire and scoring model based on CMMI.

As a core test team member for a console game, L.A. Noire (released May 2012), I executed an aggressive test schedule for Playstation 3.Identified 2,000+ bugs and improvement opportunities across the game mechanics, artwork and level design, and recorded all bugs in JIRA.

Independently wrote and edited core documentation for SiPass, an Access Control product, including user manuals and technical documentation. Collaborated with the product testing and software development teams to develop appropriate user manuals (developed from scratch for a new product), technical reference manuals for programmers, quality process documentation, online help and support notes for field staff.Researched and deployed Madcap Flare as a single source documentation solution for Siemens, significantly reducing the translation costs associated with maintaining documentation in different versions for print and online consumption. Conducted manual regression testing with both hardware and software, product support, wrote test cases and assisted with automation and performance testing
