BioVaughn Brown of Compass Real Estate began his working career in the United States Coast Guard from 2003-2007 where he was nominated for 2007 South Florida Federal Employee of the Year. In 2009 Vaughn Brown graduated with his MBA/Marketing from Nova Southeastern University. In 2010 Vaughn began working at Mandalay Bay's Foundation Room VIP Services department. He learned many life skills in Las Vegas working as a VIP Marketing Host in casinos such as Mandalay Bay, Planet Hollywood, and Palms Resort and Casino. Vaughn transitioned to LA and began his career in Real Estate in 2014. Vaughn has two years of Los Angeles Real Estate experience working for Coldwell Banker Venice, CA and is currently working at KW Commercial in Studio City.In 2016, Vaughn teamed with Joe Kim of K.W. Commercial where his primary focus became representing clients in the acquisition and disposition of retail properties, including strip centers, anchored centers and single tenant net-leased assets. To complement his investment practice, Vaughn has extensive experience in 1031 tax-deferred exchanges and sale-leaseback transactions. He utilizes this knowledge to provide clients with strategic solutions to meet their goals.
