I facilitated the development of Carnival UK's first long-term strategy with an outlook to 2030 and 2050. I achieved this through broad engagement with the fleet and shore teams resulting in strong buy-in. We developed a set of clear strategic goals and a roadmap of definitive initiatives to support the strategy. The sustainability strategy was created in conjunction with the corporate strategy to ensure genuine inter-connectivity which will serve the business well for the long-term. I also led the recovery planning for Carnival UK at the first stages of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Director at Pepper Consultants focused on designing and delivering strategies and change initiatives across a broad range of blue chip clients and fintech start ups. I was Head of Strategy at a time of rapid change in the UK retail sector and guided the Board through a complete re-think of its vision, strategy and business plan. The business is now in a much stronger position to sustainably and successfully compete in its market. I was Chief Strategy Officer for Skandia International at a time of rapid growth but with the ever increasing demands of more onerous regulations from multiple regulators. I provided the business with greater clarity and structure to their future plans and with a robust change management portfolio and process. This was a newly created role, shadowing and supporting the CEO of Skandia International. I led key strategic projects and liaised with heads of departments and staff at all levels across the organisation. It was a fantastic development role for someone keen to progress as it provided an interactive and dynamic perspective of the role of a CEO. I supported him in all aspects of his role and represented him in his absence.
