  • Staber Industries, Inc.
    Fabrication Engineer
Staber Industries, Inc. Jul 2022 - Present
    Groveport, Ohio, United States
My job as a Fabrication Engineer was designing in entirety the various projects Staber was contracted to make, as well as creating the CNC and bending programs to build company designs and designs other companies contracted us to manufacture. I used the SolidWorks CAD program for all of our designs, and specialized in building assemblies using sheet metal. I have created parts and models using 1/16 and 1/8 inch aluminum and 18 to 2 gauge steel. I mainly worked with Alpine Dryers, who contracted Staber to design and build boot dryers. I designed boot dryers for both industrial and commercial use. One of the projects I designed was a boot and glove dryer to fit in a locker at a ski resort. I also designed, manufactured, and tested a commercial boot dryer for residential use. I have made many technical drawings with bend lines and hole treatments for the machinists and shop operators in our warehouse to use as supplements to their fabrication process, so as to make the manufacturing process more streamlined.
