• Secure the functionality of the Tin Capture System and its contribution to the Source System performance in the next-generation, extreme ultraviolet lithography machine. The high technical uncertainty requires a concurrent approach with high flexibility and creativity.• Manage a 15 FTE team from concept design to manufacturing and integration, with a multidisciplinary scope including mechanical, electrical, thermal, and software development. Design challenges within this environment include tin-metal interaction, liquid tin flow, scattering behavior of plasma debris, and spitting under hydrogen radicals. • Create budgets and definitions for sub-modules and drive forward the development roadmap.• Responsible for technical communication toward internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.

• Multiple projects bringing new technologies to market, requiring “out of the box” thinking with an emphasis on time-to-market. Projects required thorough understanding of the surrounding machine systems.• Responsibilities included defining flow-related performance specifications, management of technical uncertainties, and analysis of complex high Knudsen, high Mach number gas flows.

• Research related to master’s thesis and a program sponsored by the U.S. Air Force• Topic of research: “Experimental research of bio‐inspired hover kinematics for flapping flight”• Investigating implications of reduced frequency and phase lag between pitch and plunge motion• Methods used in research are force data acquisition, particle image velocimetry (PIV), flow visualization, and verification with CFD calculations. Completed practical training in metal working (mill and lathe)
