• Plan and create innovative designs concepts and complete product designs. Execute documentation tasks such as electro-mechanical design layouts and detail drawings, electronic packaging (sheet metal) design, bills of materials, assembly drawings, engineering release packages using 3D modeling and 2D drawings. • Develop product structures and bills of materials for custom and standard products. • Evaluate and process document change requests (ECO) then supply engineering documentation for entry into JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP system.• Create and update bills of materials. • Manage PDM configuration (setup, folder creation, moving/deleting/rollback of files.) • Functional support for the enhancement, development, implementation, migration and upgrade of CAD/PDM/PLM systems and other engineering software as necessary.• Support users in the application of CAD software and the proper use of the CAD storage vault and associated workflows.
