Lead control/diagnostic algorithms development for Engine Air Handling system for NPI programs in industrial application

• Developed and tuned System Performance Calibration for multiple industrial engine platforms whose applications range from Mining, Marine to Locomotives• Supported a cross-functional process improvement project to improve the agility and efficiency of the calibration development process, which identified several cost-saving opportunities leading to a savings of around 10 % of the program cost• Developed a workflow using Mode Frontier software to automate the development of a specific calibration feature across all industrial engine platforms• Lead a cross functional work across different business units within Cummins and Esteco that enabled running simulations in HPC through a web user interface . This capability drastically reduced the simulation cycle time by up to 50 % • Lead and resolved many component and system failure issues following the seven-step problem-solving technique• Supported bench testing and field validation of new controller models• Coach newer Engineers on systems performance work

Developed a model-based deconvolution function to recover species concentrations at the tailpipe exit of heavy-duty vehicles during chassis dynamometer tests, and investigated its effect in the calculation of emissions from raw exhaust streams
