Hello! I'm a freelance counsellor with a degree in Psychology from the University at Buffalo (with a minor in Communication). I have also completed my post-graduate studies in counselling psychology at the College of Allied Educators. I’m currently working towards my clinical membership with SAC. I value constant improvement, believing that to provide better services for others and be a better worker, one needs to intentionally upskill themselves. Beyond that, my experience as a relief educator and very briefly a customer service officer has opened my eyes to see the impact of empathetic, gentle yet firm communication. If I could pick a trait most worthy to discuss, it would be my high level of sensitivity that has aided in my leadership journey over the years in various academic institutions. To uphold a high level of responsibility, be meticulous in thinking and reflect kindness in responses are my personal goals as I prepare to enter the workforce full-time.
