- Developed, organised and executed multiple programs to decrease motor vehicle emissions- Coordinated the Canadian Council of Ministers for the Environment’s national task force into vehicular emissions control, delivering 1) the national low sulphur diesel fuel program and 2) the In-service Vehicle Emissions Control Code of Practice- Independently managed several vehicle emissions research programs - Led consultations to develop federal guidelines related to vehicle emission control

- Designed the shell, structural members, ducts and piping systems of boilers for the power industry and pulp and paper industry

- Coordinated maintenance programs for railway rolling stock and controlled repairs in contract shops, analysed car repair histories and developed preventative repair programs

- Provided technical customer support for plotters and computer aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM); organised seminars and trade shows
