Develop and manage staff and professional resources to provide programmatic services for Services to At-Risk (STAR) clients. Supervised high risk offenders released on Parole or Mandatory Supervision in Hidalgo and Starr Counties. Obtained information and prepared documentation related to offenders and Parole conditions by engaging in meetings with criminal justice agencies, social services agencies, and other public and private entities. Conducted pre-sentence investigations by doing in-depth research and compiling police reports. Initiated crisis intervention by following official crisis communication plans and training. Presented cases at Administrative Hearings and presented evidence and recommendations to Board of Pardons and Parole. Interpreted data from various assessment tools to determine appropriate level of supervision. Collaborated with senior leadership during decision-making processes and created thorough offender reports for corrective action planning. Managed and coordinated sex offender therapy groups, sex offender evaluations and polygraph tests monthly. Collaborated with institutional staff, law enforcement, mental health boards, attorneys and treatment providers.
