For me my past jobs almost all have an emphasis on education, working in STEM Outreach for 5 years helping to organize and run events including Science Camp and Science Fair, coaching volleyball for various organizations for a total of 8 years, being a float teacher at a daycare for a little over a year, and currently substitute teaching. I have always been fond of the educational side of things specifically outreach. I feel that my skill set is suited for this type of work since I am comfortable speaking in front of an audience, I am confident in a leadership role, and I love working with groups of people.I am also very fond of getting involved with conservation work since my Bachelor's degree was in Ecology and Conservation Biology. I have had research experience in Biodegradation and through various courses I am confident to work in the field with GPS, conducting transect lines, and sampling water quality. On top of that I am big in to weight training and so I am confident with my strength and endurance to be out in the field for long hours carrying equipment.
