Technology advocate (at the intersection of innovation, values and social developement) with a professional public policy and project management background, in areas related to digital transformation, governance, education and youth - in European and international contexts.I have been working in multi-stakeholder contexts since 2005 - with extensive experience in managing strategic partnerships, non-profits, establishing networks and coalitions, as well as developing public policies and regulatory frameworks.Currently, my work goes in several directions: 1) International consultancy (research, public policy, capacity building) in areas related to Internet, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Governance, AI & Digital Literacy - focused on understanding the impact of new technologies and how different stakeholders can benefit from them.In this capacity, I have worked with different organisations and institutions, including UN agencies, EU institutions, Council of Europe, North South-Center of the Council of Europe, Youth Partnership between EU & Council of Europe, Internet Governance Forums and many more.I have served as a jury member in various European competitions, including the EU Datathon; European Digital Skills Awards; SALTO Awards; I have delivered speeches and trainings to various public and private organisations on topics related to AI literacy; AI governance & participation; Digital transformation of the educational sector etc.2) Project management of international strategic partnerships for the Estonian Education & Youth Board - working with Erasmus + and European Solidarity Corps Agencies to advance the participation and digital transformation priorities within the EU programmes.This role includes initiatives related to the strategic development of digital competences and capacities in the youth & education sector; understanding new technologies and how they shape participation; increasing the quality of projects developed with EU funds.3) Supporting communities to bridge European/International and national digital policies As Founder of the first Romanian Digital Think-Tank, Digital Citizens, I keep a keen interest in ensuring EU/European or international digital policies and processes are closely connected with relevant national stakeholders.My personal goal: Empower everyday citizens and stakeholders to play an active role in digital governance and take full advantage of digital opportunities!Specific expertise: Project Management, EU public policy, Internet/Digital Governance and Literacy.

This will build on the work on digitalisation and social inclusion and access to rights and will also examine the impact of AI on young people’s financial autonomy, the economy and future of work.The project will further explore the potential and limits of AI and the relevance of this topic in the context of Covid-19 pandemic and the increasing reliance on digital tools. It will also promote ways to positively use digital technologies for youth, to mitigate the risk of increasing the digital divide and alienation in virtual reality, as well as to encourage policies and practice enabling social inclusion through digitalisation and AI-powered tools. -

Jury Member | The Eu DatathonPublication Office Of The European Union 2018 - 2019As a Jury member for the 2018 and 2019 editions, I had the opportunity to asses the innovative ideas participating in the EU Datathon - EU-wide open data competition.The competitions, organised since 2017 aim to create new value for citizens through innovation, and promoting the use of open data produced by the EU institutions and available on the EU Open Data Portal, the single point of access of open data in the EU institutions, agencies and bodies.Datathons gather teams of young people from all over Europe to stimulate innovation and transform the interaction between citizens and the EU administration. The reuse of data promoted by the EU Datathons is fundamental for new digital products in the information era. As a result, new applications are developed to improve existing services or create completely unprecedented ones. The competitions also demonstrate that potential reusers do need such initiatives for visibility to potential business partners.
