Hi, I’m Veronica, an Executive Director and Global Product Leader for Vaccines at CSL Seqirus, a leading global biotechnology company specializing in influenza prevention and vaccine innovation where I play a key role pioneering COVID sa-mRNA vaccine, marking a significant milestone in public health with first regulatory approval for an sa-mRNA product approved in Japan in December 2024. I also lead a global cross-functional team in support of influenza pandemic preparedness and response for public health and governments.My career started twenty-five years ago, as a Clinical Research Associate, after earning my Biochemistry degree from the University of Buenos Aires. Driven by a commitment to public health and the desire to make a meaningful impact, I made the move to the pharmaceutical industry in 2011 as a Portfolio Leader at Parexel, where I dedicated 7 years of my career and received the High-Performance Culture Award in 2016. In 2019, I joined CSL Seqirus as the Head of Clinical Development Operations, Compliance and Training, where my time has been marked by some significant achievements. I successfully led a team of over 50 professionals, managed a budget of over $100M, and executed complex clinical programs globally throughout the pandemic. Committed to constantly expanding my knowledge, I completed the Executive Education Certificate ‘Drug development, reimbursement, and regulation’ from Duke, Fuqua School of Business, broadening my perspective on drug development challenges. I find great satisfaction in working with globally diverse teams, and I’m especially passionate about mentoring and supporting the growth of Latin American women. I'm a strong advocate for creating a nurturing environment where both individuals and teams can flourish and I’ve had the privilege of being one of 25 senior leadership chosen for CSL Seqirus' Executive development program, dedicated to cultivating future leaders. Outside of work, I enjoy quality time with family and friends. My family and I love travelling around the world and visiting diverse places, and we also enjoy singing our hearts out at concerts.
