As the Assistant Programs Director of Digital Engagement, I wasresponsible for creating promotional and marketing collateral (print promotional collateral design support, web content update support, events photography coverage, email marketing, and uploading video assets) for the UCSB Alumni Affairs department. I provided photography coverage, image processing, and assets organization support (photo and video asset organization, sharing, and uploading) for the department. I ran the social media channels for Alumni Affairs and supervised a student interns to update channels and provide event coverage. I monitored and gathered metrics to prepare social media reports and analytics. I created and built our social media content calendar to provide our alumni audience with up to date info, opportunities, resources. This helped our channels strengthen relationships with our current community, broaden reach and expand the number of individuals in our alumni network, and increase our overall engagement.

As an intern, I was responsible for creating promotional and marketing collateral (print promotional collateral design support, web content update support, events photography coverage, and uploading video assets) for the Division’s different units and programs. I provided photography coverage, image processing, and assets organization support (photo and video asset organization, sharing, and uploading) for program events and initiatives. I provided support to update social media channels for the Graduate Division, as well as implementing social media events coverage plan for Grad Slam and Commencement. I also helped monitor and gather metrics to prepare reports and analytic tables, as needed. As the senior intern, I also helped manage and guide other interns.

As a Social Media Coordinator, I was responsible for implementing our social media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. Some of my roles included managing and overseeing social media content, monitoring SEO and user engagement and suggesting content optimization, and communicating with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
