I am a Community Ecologist. What is that you ask? It is someone who is focused on growing community and nation resilience so that all people can thrive.When a crisis or diaster occurs I work with those communities to enable an effective, community-led response. And then support and collaborate with communities in regenerative recovery.I am interested in exploring ecological design systems and environmentally sound practices to recreate and evolve how we, humans, live in partnership and peace with the land and each other so that we are all resilient to change and unexpected impact. I have a particular interest in communities that are rebuilding and humanitarian programmes. I have experience working at all levels including central government, local government, NGOs and private sector. This includes leading 'Response and Recovery' exercises, and advising on governance and business models.
