We are a 501(c) (3) tax exempt organization and also classified as a Georgia Charitable group. As a religious non-profit group,we distribute Christian Education material. We do not sell goods or services. We currently have available three books: To Grow in Jesus, A Journey Together in Christ, and a booklet entitled The Story of Jesus for children. Victor Hanson is current President of the corporation. Joe Ann Hanson is vice-president and treasurer. We have a five member board of directors. All of our officers and board members are volunteers ( We have no paid employees). We respond to natural disaster victims as funds permit. The website www.growinjesus.org gives more information about the ministry and how the books may be obtained. The Ministry's mission is to distribute our books, to maintain the website, and to glorify our Lord, Jesus Christ and the heavenly Father. Our financial support comes from individuals who wish to support the ministry. Our main solicitation is through an annual newsletter which is hand delivered and or mailed. We opperate on a low budget and file a ecard tax report with IRS. Most ministers recognize the necessity of growing in Jesus. This is done in various ways such as attending Sunday School and church. Another area of growth in Jesus is to study the Bible and to read religious educational material.We believe To Grow In Jesus presents Jesus' plan of redemption (salvation) and other valuable information regarding Christian growth. The apostle, Peter presented a challenge when he wrote, "but grow in the grace and knowldege of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ" (2nd. Peter 3:18). Jesus said that he would say to some of his enemies and persecutors, "I do not know you". There is only one way to heaven that we know of, and that is through belief and faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ. Jesus did teach about hell and separation from God. Investigator of Juvenile cases and supervisor of deliquent childen. Became Probtion officer supervisor and later began work as a shift supervisor in the Fulton County detention center. We worked under the supervision of the Fulton County juvenile judges and the chief probation officer.
