Responsible for capital and maintenance budget of $125 million in 9 manufacturing facilities spanning USA, Canada and Puerto Rico. Managed capital and maintenance budget of $125M in 9 manufacturing facilities spanning USA, Canada and Puerto Rico. Direct succession planning, new product innovation and renovation, compliance, energy & water stewardship, technical performance improvement, foreign body reduction and machine safety. Leader of 4 direct, 85 indirect engineers/maintenance staff and 325 mechanics. Report to Vice President of Corporate Engineering.• Delivered division capital spending targets with 1% 3 consecutive years• Transformed project management culture through piloting new Project Management Institute (PMI) based global project management methodology on a $18mio project delivering on all key project success criteria resulting in a vertical start-up.• Directed rollout of PM Pillar Maintenance Foundations and transforming the maintenance culture implementing PM optimization, running PM’s, planning and scheduling, FMEA and predictive maintenance.• Piloted zero based budgeting tool for 2017 maintenance budget proposals• Developed and deployed a sustainability pillar delivering environmental roadmaps for each factory leading to 14% water reduction since 2011 and obtaining zero landfill status in 2015.
