My name is Vicki (or Victoria if I am in trouble), I live in Plymouth with my two beautiful children and our crazy dog!I have built my career to provide for my family and to demonstrate to the children, that they too can be independent with hard work and determination.I asked my son, when starting school age4, "how are you feeling starting something new?" He replied "a few butterflies in my tummy mummy but I am as brave as a t-rex" So here I am doing the t-rex thing, with butterlfies in my tummy ready to start my next adventure...heres the offical bit...My past 17 years have been dedicated to using and supporting digital technology for teaching, learning, assessment, and feedback. I spent 14 years in higher education at the University of Plymouth as an e-developer, learning technologist, and digital learning designer. I then transitioned to adult teaching and learning in the commercial/logistics sector at Logistics UK. Most recently, I thrived in a fixed-term role as a Digital Exams Coordinator at the University of Plymouth, where I provided comprehensive project management support and oversaw the procurement of the university’s new central digital exams solution.I am passionate about networking with others, understanding their working practices, and utilising my pedagogical knowledge to enhance the educational learning experience through digital learning tools and digital transformation.Recently, I have combined my extensive project management in pedagogical teaching and learning with a personal interest and commitment to lifelong learning. I drive success in project management by promoting best practices and professional standards, with a focus on planning, risk management, leadership, and communication. With a strategic and collaborative approach, I help teams navigate challenges and consistently deliver projects on time and within scope.
