As a mobile Notary and certified Notary Signing Agent I provide Notary or witness signing services on documents at the location of your choosing. I cover all of the Matanuska-Susitna Borough and areas of Anchorage, Eagle River and Chugiak/Birchwood. Documents range from real estate transactions to structured settlement agreements, debt management, and more. I have handled sensitive documents of this nature for well over 30 years. I have been a certified Notary Signing Agent through the National Notary Association for the past 10 years.

As escrow manager I was responsible for the escrow, customer service and recording staff. I performed escrow closing services, hired and trained staff, and maintained an on-going marketing presence with local real estate licensees, lenders and businesses.

This position was new for the agency, and had been created to bring a department in chaos back to an acceptable condition. My oversight included a staff of 6, and dealt with all aspects of applications, documentation, policy and procedures, audits and federal compliance related to the housing side of the agency. I was in charge of the IT department along with every aspect involving 177 low-income and affordable rental units and 90 rent-to-own units (funded under NAHASDA) and 800+ occupants of those units, together with several in-house and state-funded housing and mortgage loan programs. During my employment I audited and brought the department housing files and records back into compliance with HUD, reviewed all loan program files, underwrote all loan applications, conducted on-site visits to 6 remote villages and of all agency-managed housing units in those villages; conducted a thorough needs assessment of the housing community and produced a 5 year action plan; hired, terminated and trained staff, updated policy, procedures and forms, implemented a security policy and a disaster preparedness action plan, improved security camera monitoring in both the rental buildings and in the company headquarters, and updated the company website. I audited the volume of delinquencies and bad debt and determined that little effort had been made toward collection, and began an aggressive collection program, Through this effort a substantial amount of those accounts in which there was any lead worth pursuing were collected. Throughout my tenure with this company I provided regular updates to staff and to the Board of Directors, and also conducted community and village outreach meetings to rebuild the company's reputation and determine present and future housing needs. I left this position to return to Palmer, Alaska.

As escrow officer I opened and closed escrow transactions, including gathering or creation of documents as needed. Many transactions were handled by mail to remote areas of Alaska; this required excellent organizational and communication skills in order to assure a smooth, error-free transaction. This position involved a great deal of marketing to local lenders, businesses and real estate licensees. I also served as a licensed title examiner.

This was a temporary position. I served as a job shadow to the senior escrow officer while she was on a reduced work schedule following a leave of absence. While in this position I maintained the ongoing relationships with the senior officers' customers and escrow assistants. I also provided staff training to better enhance their understanding of the lending community's needs from escrow and title staff.

I was hired to create, launch and manage a new mortgage lending department. The department was open for business within a few months of my hire and became an ongoing and highly successful department of the credit union. My duties included establishing and maintaining relationships with investors, loan servicers, vendors/service providers, customers and members, creating policy and procedure manuals and process, selection and ongoing maintenance of department software, regular training to the credit union staff of over 100 people, daily maintenance of department web pages, development of marketing materials, hiring & training of staff and development of new lending programs to meet the needs of the members and the community. I also served as senior loan originator, head underwriter, and in the closing, funding and shipping process.
