Friends Of The Mount Sinai Visiting Doctors
I have helped organize a group of New Yorkers that want to help raise funds and awareness for this very worthy program. We will do interesting events to help teach the public about the program and hopefully raise monies. The program currently has 13 doctors, nurses, and social workers visiting 1000 people in their homes in Manhattan each year. This program is the largest of its kind in the U.S. and thus are teaching other hospitals to institute their own similar programs.
