*Leadership responsibility for laboratory, phlebotomy and registration staff at Encircle Health. Insured that processes and services meet the WOW requirements of the facility and customers for quality, service and cost. *Supported a strategic link between Encircle Health, practice managers, independent areas/specialties, and ThedaCare Physicians. *Facilitated the professional growth and development of staff.

*Teach and facilitate teams and leaders to apply improvement thinking, utilization of lean tools and related concepts. I have facilitated Value Streams, Rapid Improvement Events, 2P, 3P and 5S events, daily problem solving using "Plan, Do, Study, Act" methodology, including data collection and analysis, visual transparency and tracking, and use of the 9 tools to see waste.*Fostered synergy within teams to achieve improvement and operational goals*Coached and mentored leaders to practice process improvement while developing teams and individuals.

Touchpoint Health Plan

Supervised Administrative staff and acted as facilitator/project leader for Administrative Assistants across numerous departments. Oversaw purchasing process. Approved all building services related invoices. Identified numerous costs saving initiatives and implemented them. Developed and monitored monthly Administrative budget. Handled all building issues and concerns. Performed data collection and analysis of service quality indicators. Developed Safety Committee and Safety Program as well as an Emergency Response Team (ERT). Responsible for Payroll approval.Maintained the health plan compliance program and served as a resource to the health plan regarding State and Federal regulatory requirements. Acted as primary liaison with State and Federal agencies and attorneys retained by the health plan. Developed and reviewed files for approval and implemented insurance documents required by OCI. Monitored changes in Federal and State legislation and facilitated appropriate required action. Conducted compliance related data collection as required by DHFS, OCI, Office of Civil Rights or other regulatory agencies. Coordinated the Health Plan Benefits and Compliance Team. Assisted with oversight of Compliance Staff.

Thedacare Physicians

Enthusiastic team member in a growing family/sports medicine practice. Experience in all areas of general radiography and EKG’s. Created par levels for all medical/pharmaceutical supplies and solely managed all inventory via Lawson Materials Management System. Established and managed automated prescription phone line.

Cardiac Cath Lab/Special Procedures

Dedicated team member in an aggressive Cardiac Services Department. Divided time on a daily basis between Cardiac Catherization Lab and Special Procedures. Involved in pt. prepping, pt. care, hemodynamic monitoring and all aspects of imaging. Established the use of SCVIR (Society of Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography) HI-IQ computer program in the Special Procedures Lab and trained staff in the use of this software.

Diagnostic Imaging, Surgery

Experience in all modalities of diagnostic radiography i.e. fluoroscopy, trauma, portables. Primary technologist for surgery from approx. 1993-1996.
