In addition to leading mathematics instruction in classroom, blended and web-based environments, I have served in numerous leadership, liaison, training & development, project management and strategic planning roles at the district and school levels. Throughout my tenure, I have been a school and district level technology advocate for next generation technology integration, including AI for teacher professional development, curriculum development and integration into classrooms. I have led research and developed cases for creating formative assessment questions utilizing innovative approaches and AI to monitor student learning, provide feedback and guide instructional decisions to enhance the learning process.I designed and developed the district’s Online Professional Development Series focused on next generation technology integration in the classroom, where I worked with the Director of IT to develop professional training courses in various IT and emerging technologies. I created courses and modules, such as: Technology Integration, Transforming Role of Classroom Instruction, Technology Integrations: The Research, Technology in the Lives of Modern Children, 21st Century Professional Skills, New Design for Education, Blended Learning and the Future of Education. I also developed new faculty onboarding courses, career development skill courses and continuing education courses in various software programs partnering with IT teams.I was a subject matter expert (SME) for leveraging data analytics to improve curriculum planning. I would compile/analyze student performance data of various subpopulations in Alex software application to adjust instructional programs and strategies. I served on several district leadership committees, including creating K-12 mathematics vocabulary meeting standards and a cohort on Depth of Knowledge in formative and summative assessment.

I worked in a collaborative environment and planned, created, assessed and conducted mathematics instruction for students. I focused on improving student performance through employing traditional and non-traditional teaching methods and utilized self-assessments and creative, alternative approaches to motivate students.

I developed and led undergraduate level mathematics courses, including mathematics intervention for traditional and nontraditional students. Additionally, I led courses in English for non-English speaking adult students and served on several leadership committees and developed new courses.

Adult education and corporate training role, where I interfaced with local and regional manufacturing companies to gather requirements and design, develop and facilitate custom courses for employees onsite. I provided leaders with perspective, scalable training plans and training modules to drive process/operating efficiencies and improve staff member skill sets. I built strong, trusted relationships with corporate executives, senior leaders and plant managers to identify new opportunities to increase staff development and presented new class ideas to company leaders and assisted in closing new business. I directed requirements, methodologies, timelines, benchmarks, curriculum and delivery methodology for courses and determined learning objectives and skill gaps to design/develop new curriculum. I designed, developed and conducted instructor-led training programs in various areas of manufacturing operations, as well as team building, leadership development, communication and safety. I designed, implemented and facilitated interactive team building initiatives and programs.
